Lagos Fashion and Design Week (LFDW) is a multi-day event platform that aims to elevate the Nigerian and ultimately, the African fashion industry; by bringing together buyers, consumers and the media to view the current collections of African designers.

As a leading fashion event on the African calendar, LFDW leads the way with initiatives that supports, strengthens and develops the industry. Beyond the runway, the annual event provides a physical platform that’s gradually re-positioning fashion as a useful tool for commerce and creativity in Nigeria.

They show showcases outfits from notable designers ; the likes of Lisa folawiyo, Lanre Da Silva, Mai Atafo , Ejiro Amos Tafiri, Tsemaye Binite, Ladunni Lambo, Naked Ape, Maxivive, Washighton Roberts, Orange Culture ,Bridget Awosika, Kelechi Odu, Maki Oh by Alara, Gozel green, DNA by Iconic ivanity, Nuraniya, David Tale, Iam Isigo ,POC, Moofa, Siphosihle Masango, Andrea Inyamah ,Sophia Zinga ,etc. This year promises even more amazing and mind blowing designs on the runway.

 

Last year brought in Africa’s international models; the likes of Mayowa Nicholas, Victor Ndigwe, Davidson Obinabo, Tarmar Mathapelo Awobotu , Opeyemi Awoyemi etc. The anticipation for this year is off the chart seeing as each year always brings in something new, we also can’t wait!!
