Kendall Jenner’s latest Ad campaign has been totally bashed on Twitter for mocking political resistance.
After pumping up the excitement for her new role as a Pepsi Spokesperson, the model unveiled her debut Ad on Tuesday 4th of April and quickly became the target of ridicule.
The “Live for Now Moments” video below shows Jenner going from a wigged celebrity to a concerned protester and eventually handing a white police officer on the demonstration line a can of Pepsi. He takes a swig and then smiles as Jenner dances off with fellow demonstrators.

The film has been roundly slammed on social media as ‘disrespectful’ to civil rights movements such as Black Lives Matter.
People took to Twitter to comment, with comedian Travon Free saying: “The Kendall Jenner Pepsi fiasco is a perfect example of what happens when there’s no black people in the room when decisions are being made,” which has been retweeted more than 3,000 times.
Some have accused it of mimicking the famous picture of Leishia Evans last year in Louisiana. Evans was detained when she approached Police at a demonstration in Baton Rouge.

Pepsi defended the advertisement despite the social media backlash. This is a global Ad that reflects people from different walks of life coming together in a spirit of harmony and we think that’s an important message to convey “The statement said”.
